My art flowers all had a specific purpose today. I am honoring the flowers fighting back against the rains but also expanding my ideas of mixing the colors of different flowers together to see what happens. So far, what happens has been pretty sweet; come and see. In the morning, I’m having breakfast with a good friend, Ron Dotson. Then, to work.
Some rain returns tomorrow and then again in a day or so.
Flower Purple
A water-logged Begonia whose her stuff in the sun.
I salute the little yellow flower, just a few days old. she’s already standing out.
Another small flower pops up after the rain.
Lulu and Constance hang out together in the heat. Fanny has retreated to the Pole Barn. It’s very rare to see one donkey without the other.
I especially LOVE the first photo — the brilliant purple!
Lovely! a study in texture, with brilliant color as a bonus!
