I don’t have much time before posting this; if the forecasts are half right, we are in for a rocky evening, the kind so many people in many places are experiencing and have been for years. Now, it has come to us.
Climate change has come home to us, the truth of it in our yards, streams, roads, and homes.
There’s a good chance the power will go out tonight, and the blog could be offline for a bit.
Hopefully, I’ll be posting in the morning as usual. But if not, here are some of today’s flower pictures to hold you. I’m saving my art photos for tomorrow; I’ve got a few I like.
I’m still learning, growing, and changing; thanks for hanging in there with me and for your kind and generous messages. The flowers are changing me, bringing out something buried deep inside of me.
I’m not captioning these flowers; I must shut off the computer and tend to the farm. Good luck to us and you; if I prayed, I would be praying for all of you; all I can do is hold you in the light. I am.
It’s an enormous responsibility for us to be responsible for the care of these animals. We will do everything we can to make them safe and comfortable.
This one could go on for a few days. We are prepared. We’ll be fine.
The Raven has gone inside. Me and Maria also.
oh, I think these flower photos are some of your most spectacular yet! Beautiful, Jon! You and Maria are preparing for the storm……and I will think of you, but not worry…..because I know you are ready. May all be well and look forward to seeing you on the other side of the weather!
