Maria has many moods and faces; no two portraits are ever remotely alike, like a fingerprint. She is my favorite portrait, as I only take portraits of people I like or love.

In this one, she is sitting on the porch looking at Fate and Minnie.

Her emotions are always close to the surface, and that’s one of the things that make the portraits interesting to me.
