The sun lured me out this morning; by the time it rains, I’ll be in the Mansion conducting my meditation class. We will read daily prayers and musings from Joan Chittister And Henri Nouwen and meditate together.
Fanny often goes out into the swampy marsh for plants that she loves to chew. The sheep never go in there; it’s wet and soft. Donkeys climb mountains.
I don’t often take photos from this angle, but I liked the landscape between where Fanny was eating. The clouds are getting angry here.
Lulu and Fanny are inseparable; they are sisters, born close to one another, and they have been together every day of their 16 years.
I loved the three of us out in the pasture, crunching on our apples together.
Lulu is all business sometimes, but she was lovey-dovey this morning, perhaps because I gave her an apple. She insisted on a neck scratch; I was happy to oblige. I think she is the true Queen of the animals on the farm.
I like the different angles, and very much appreciate and enjoying captures of the donkeys and sheep
Love the angle! Donkeys don’t fare any better than humans with selfie angles–noses are amplified!!!
