Some Flowers Called Out To Me This Morning Before I Teach Meditation To My Class At The Mansion. Here They Are.

by Jon Katz

I’m going to the Mansion this morning for my meditation class. I have readings from several books for them, and we’ll meditate together just before lunch. These classes are valuable to me, and I also hope for the residents. It has really caught on.

Before packing up my books and camera, I went out to check on my flowers. Three of them called out to me to get my attention—one above, two below. Yes, they are talking to me now.

When I step outside, I can sometimes here they shouting out, “Hey, mister, look at me!” My baby peony, the top photo, is putting on quite a show.

I take pictures of it daily to catch her growth and evolution. Every flower is different. Almost all of them bare their souls.

  1. Jon, it’s great to see the details of the flowers. So many of us never see them. I love your flower photos.
