Today’s art show experiment was about portraits, seeing a flower’s environment as touching and beautiful. Here, the atmosphere is more significant than the flower, although also very attached to it. Flowers as one, in a way.
In a sense, I’m stepping outside of the flower, while the regular photos go deeply inside. This is a good balance for me, although I’m still experimenting and trying to figure it out.
I’ve slipped back into my everyday running-around habits and feel more normal. But I need to rest tomorrow.
I haven’t seen my toe since the surgery last Thursday, and Dr. Daly said it needed a lot of rest to heel. I want this to be over on Thursday, so a quiet day tomorrow. Thursday is an important day.
I’ll be blogging as usual, and taking flower pictures, of course.
A portrait of a feeling.
