I started my week in the loveliest way with this letter from a blog reader named Charmayne; her message practically bursts with goodwill and good feelings. I’ve been guilty of sharing more nasty messages than good ones; that’s wrong.
Charmayne reminds me of what most people are really like. You won’t see her on the news, but she has a place in my heart.
Charmayne was sending a donation for blog support. She actually apologized for not sending a donation earlier. How fortunate am I to have a reader like this. She lives in the Midwest, and that is all I know about her:
“Jon, I am finally doing this; I apologize for not paying for your wonderful blog before.
I so, so soooo enjoying reaching for your blog every morning and “all” the wonderful, beautiful pictures. I look forward to this every day. And I, too, am cheered by all of it. I could actually love just about all of your pictures.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with us. Thank you for all that you do for the Mansion, the kids, more, and others who you help, guide, and support. Thank you again, and please take care of “you” too! P.S. I love all the animals also.” — Charmayne Cochran.
I love the image of Charmayne starting her day with some tea or coffee and bedlamfarm.com. This is everything I hope for when I started the blog, even if it took me some years to figure it out. I want to do this, and I hope the blog makes people feel.
I thank all the hurt and angry people of the world; they have made me better, showing me what I don’t want to be and must not become.
Charlayne reminds me of the good hearts most people have. I thank you, Charlayne, for your lovely letter, the Jon in your letter is the person I want to be, if not yet the person I am. I’m going to hang it on the wall to inspire me.
Thanks to you and people like you, I will keep at it. Much love back to you. You take care of you!
