I’m in an experimenting mood now, trying different things with color, playing with different focuses, trying out manual settings, and thinking of abstract color photos. The raised beds are a jungle of color; there are all sorts of possibilities there. I love experimenting, stretching myself, and trying different things.
Take a look. I hope you enjoy them.
Tomorrow morning, I will go back to Saratoga for tests on my bladder (the kidney stone surgery) to see if the surgery worked, and before that, to see David at CPO Orthoetics; he wants to cast my foot for a brace. I hope he can do it, my left foot, the one the brace is being made for, is swathed in bandages from today’s surgery.
We’ll see. I’ll be back in the early afternoon.
The tests and surgeries are over. I am excited about the weekend. We are planning absolutely nothing unless a good movie pops up somewhere nearby—time for serious healing. Come and see the experiments. I hope you enjoy them. It was great fun for me and challenging. I have an awful lot to learn.
My experiments are in color and light. Flower Fusion, if you will. Something new for me, something I haven’t seen before.

Jon you are an artist! I love your pictures and want to make a calendar for my sister with some of them. She will absolutely love your photos. She doesn’t like reading on the internet but maybe after seeing your beautiful photo art she will come round to checking out yours and Maria’s blogs. Both are places of lively yet peaceful joy!
Thanks Jose feel free to use any of the photos
