I appreciate all the nice words I’m getting for my art photos and the regular flower pictures.
It’s much more fun than exchanging nasty messages with sour people and trolls. I’m slow to learn, but I don’t give up on it. There’s just a big wall around me sometimes; Maria broke through it the first time we met, which helped change my life.
Still, I have a good ways to go. I will always have a good ways to go. That’s the power of the Spiritual Trek; you never quite get there, but never quit trying. (Above, the soul of a Poene.)
Flower photography is transformative for me. The first thing I do in the morning is go outside and see how the beds are doing. The last thing I do at night is check on them. This has changed me and unleashed something deep inside of me that wanted to come out.
I’m especially enjoying experimenting with blue, my cameras all seem to like this color, and I’m not sure why. I believe that God if there is one, gave all of us the creative spark. It’s a tragedy to waste it. Maria and I share this belief; it’s what first brought us together, it’s what keeps us so closely bound to one another.
Stepping back and seeing flower photos as a scene and feeling is exciting for me. It’s not just one flower, but flowers in context, with one another, and the environment around them. That’s what I’m trying to catch.
This flower was battered by rain. I am eager to see what it looks like tomorrow.
I’ll say goodbye on a good note. I’m burned through my mysteries, stuck now I’m deep into “Cutting For Stone” by Abraham Verghese. This book has really captured my imagination. I’m on an early sleep regimen now, see you in the morning. I hope you enjoy the photos.
Your flower photos are lovely but your prettiest flower is Maria (from this
80-year-old mother’s heart).
I think flowers and photography have been a pathway to discovering your own beauty.
Wow…
Flowers….so varied, so eautiful, so brief their time. More of Nature’s marvels
You do You and live your best life according to your beautiful soul
