The sun burst through the clouds around 4 p.m., and the wind is blowing the fire smoke out and away from us, at least for now. I was happy to see the sun. It’s been a few gloomy days.

glad your sky is beginning to change for the better. Here in Calif. we’ve had up to 6 weeks of smoky skies like that….the last and worst time 4 years ago from the Big Sur fire only 100 miles north of us that burned for months. It’s not pleasant or healthy and it does create the most eerie and disconcerting *light*. Hope you enjoy your 2 day getaway…….I know you will! Rest, love, read, eat……then repeat! 🙂
