Maria took this photo last night of Zinnia lying all night in my place in the bed, The therapy dog seems to know when I need her. I don’t know exactly how it works, but I know we miss one another at times like this. In a few hours, she will be lying at my feet at home waiting for a scratch and a hug, watching over me. This is love too.

You are her whole life. Of course she’ll be there in the evening and then the next day by your side. You are mostly what she lives for & cares about. Even regular dogs who are not therapy dogs can be like this. They are such wonderful companions…
