I’ve made a decision about my photography. I’m devising my flower photos into two parts: Flowers and Flower Art.
They are two very different things, and I take my photos in very different ways. This will begin later this evening with my first Flower Art Photos. The other images are simple but hopefully beautiful pictures of the flowers here, just like the ones you have seen.
The art photos are something different. You’ll see what I mean. I’m separating them. In this post, there are some flower photos. I’ve been experimenting with my Leica and trying different things. I am excited to share this with you.
We love going out to the movies, but we also love being on our farm. There is so much to do here; it is such a peaceful place to read, talk and rest. So we stayed home. Maria installed a new toilet seat (no, there is not much she can’t do).
I took some pictures, read, we meditated, and cooked together. We’ll be blogging and working tomorrow.
My flower bed is just bursting with color and light. I’m way ahead of schedule; this is going to be a beautiful year.
Purple Iris
Maria cleaning up the wildflower garden and planting some seeds.
It’s getting hot, as predicted. Fate took cover in the shade, a rare thing for her.
Three beautiful yellow irises popped up today. This is one of them.
My art photos will go on the blog after dinner.
Your flower beds are amazing! I’m so far behind, here in CT.
