Tomorrow, I go to Saratoga in the morning to see my surgical podiatrist, Dr. Daly, for what is probably our last visit in a while. This is the final check to make sure my toe has adequately healed. We move on now to getting my new brace made.
This morning was a lovely flower day. I was surprised to find a new iris that sprouted overnight. This one is a beauty also. The other three speak for themselves, primarily different begonias, one of my favorite flower photo subjects.

I’m signing off for tonight, plowing into my books, and making real headway. I hope to go to the Mansion on Friday. I’m bringing Lucy the life-like baby she requested. She is new to the Memory Care unit. The dolls we got earlier are very much appreciated. So are the cats.
I got a female baby w/blanket; I’ll go and meet her on Friday.
The Mansion fund is pretty low. It could use some donations, small or large. They can come via Paypal, [email protected], Venmo, Jon-Katz@Jon-Katz-13. or by mail, Jon Katz, Mansion Fund, P.O. Box 205, State Route 22, Cambridge, New York, 12816.
Thanks, I need to get some light shorts and summer wear (some sneakers) for some of the residents who love to walk outside in the summer.
Flowers have character
And rich color. Even the stem of this begonia is beautiful
See you tomorrow.
