I am making friends with these generous and social dairy cows on Route 22. They were happy to pose for me.
Cows love visitors; they always come over to check me out, even though I’d rather they lay down and let me take their pictures in the relaxed and calming way they do. My new horse friend also loves to see me and get his apple. He lives on the other side of town..
Eventually, they come over to the fence for a closer look. An ensemble group called the Rural Soul Drum In Joy Ensemble drummed for the new market opening.
They were a lot of fun. The Farmers Market is expanding and has moved to a restoration project next to the old town library. It’s a suitable permanent home for them.
They’ve almost doubled in size, and their best and busiest season is coming.
The drummers played at the Cambridge market’s new and beautiful home in the Owlkill Commons in the middle of town.
There were a lot of drummers at the farmer’s market. They were great.
Kids were invited to beat the drums.
We were taking clothes off of the line when we got home. We went to the Laotion restaurant in Schuylervill for a great early dinner. I am very happy that we are going out a lot. Suddenly, there are good places to eat.
I love cows and their curiousity.
