I offer these free flower photos to give something back to the many good people who have supported me all these years. I will keep them coming, along with my blog and my life.
It is a beautiful, crisp Spring morning here at Bedlam Farm. I’m ready to plunge back into life this week – the Mansion, the refugee kids, my return to farm chores, and the blog and pictures. I have a lot to do, and I love all of it. I’m already walking better than before, and I don’t even have my new brace yet.
I can even look at my foot now without wincing or feeling sad. I went out yesterday with my new Leica camera and took seven flower photos. In a few minutes, Maria and I will go out searching for croissants for breakfast; we think we can find them at our friend Ashley’s new baker and coffee shop, Coffe And….in Greenwich.
We are grateful for the latest food revolution out here in the country. Then back home to read, take pictures, write, blog, and continue to rest up a bit.
Maria and I are happy to climb out of the Surgery Zone, and a beautiful day like this helps. She will do more planting today in her garden, and so will I. We are also going to the farmer’s market today, then home. I’ve got another Adam Dalgleish mystery to watch later tonight.
Flowers are beautiful in life and beautiful in death, like everything on a farm.
Some kind of daisy, planted yesterday in my garden bed.
A new flower for the garden bed, planted yesterday.
I can’t stop taking pictures of that red Poppy

your blog is the brightest spot in my every morning …..
I am glad things are looking up for you as far as your health and daily life –
I am not an eloquent person – but I hope I am getting my heartfelt appreciation for you and Maria –
Take care –
Gail
Gail, you sound pretty eloquent to me; thank you for that beautiful message. I am well, better than I was before. Fortunately I have problems that can be fired, others have issues that can never be fixed..I never forget that…
