Today, we saw this beautiful Purple Iris for sale at the farmer’s market. I was going to buy it for Maria, but she bought it for me, and when we got home, I gave it back to her for her garden.

This is a perennial; it should be in her garden. I’m keeping it for two days. It is one of the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen.

I only have a couple of days to figure out how to photograph it. The photo above is of my Lisianthus flowers; they’ll open in a few weeks.
