My granddaughter Robin, who is six, loves her art class, and I’m impressed with what I know about the teacher; she is open to the kids in the class experimenting and learning about the masters.
Here, she is going abstract, channeling Pablo Picasso, whose work she has seen several times at various New York Museums.
Picasso was never abstract. He said so himself.
I don’t really care what he said; he was abstract in my view and that of many established critics…He not only painted abstract art, but he was also often credited with creating it.

What a great future artist your granddaughter Robin is!!!
Be proud of and happy for her, Jon!!^^
I literally can not believe a 6 yr old done this. Absolutely unbelievable. This kid is going places.
Every time you post a piece of your granddaughter’s artwork, I am in awe.
She’s amazing, but she does have a good art teacher, I am told…
jON – Better than Picasso !
