Afreda visited us this week; we saw that she had gone natural and returned her hair to its natural color. She was pleased about it, and as one of my favorite portrait subjects, I agreed; she looks striking, her face full of character and emotion.
I never go wrong doing portraits of people I like or love and respect. All three are true of Alfreda.
Somehow, the camera picks it up. She told me she likes these portraits; she sends them to her children. She yelled at me for not resting more.
Just saw this post and photo today and again I must say that Alfreda has always been one of my favorite of your portrait subjects. Not only does she posses an expressive face…..but I can almost feel her beauty radiating from within. I wish I could meet her………I know I would love her instantly (I love her already!)
