I’d love to meet the school photographer who took this picture, he or she did an excellent job of somehow capturing the joy and explosive energy in Robin, my granddaughter.
I can’t imagine how he or she did it.
The photo speaks for itself, and Emma also sent along last year’s school photo.
Each photograph say says something about who Emma is and where she is.
I LOVE HER SCHOOL!!! Darling girl. Darling photos. Great way to remember ‘back in the day’ later in her life…instead of the stilted studio/portrait type shots. I am very impressed!! I enjoy these fleeting moments of joy captured.
Those are the best school photos I’ve ever seen. Boy, Jon, they’ve inherited your talent and the fantastic freedom to demonstrate using them. Good on all of you.
Sooo much better than any school picture I have ever seen! Captures her personality very well.
Oh, my. She and my red-headed 6 year old granddaughter would get along just fine!
First thought…oh a “usual” school photo… And then I laughed out loud when I opened it up. What a fabulous set of photos for what is obviously a fabulous child! Thank you for starting my Friday with a smile.
Spectacular! It looks a Norman Rockwell painting!
There are so many photographers (including myself) would love to take fun and energetic photos like this but schools won’t allow it or they are caught into strict contract with the large school photo conglomerates that won’t allow for this. And they definitely won’t allow them to be printed in a yearbook.
I offer back to school photos in my studio that allow for these fun photos and other creative and individualized images.
Thanks, Bob. Robin’s school is very open to fun and energetic photos..perhaps being in Brooklyn is a part of that…
