An important week. Tomorrow, I bring the new train set to the Mansion (thanks) and Thursday I expect to have the stitches removed from my food, which means I can wear regular shoes and pants again, take a shower, sleep without a surgical boot on my foot and begin the work to get a new special orthotic brace ordered (if insurance will pay for it) so that I can walk normally again, or at least much more normally than recently.
I’m excited about both things. I’m grateful that the work on our roof is done, it cost a lot, it was worth a lot. Many thanks to Jamie Alexander who worked so hard and well.
I also love my new tinted classes, my issues with blinding light and sun are just about gone. I’m going to rest and read tonight, I leave you with two images that touched me greatly. Sometimes I look for the blue sky, sometimes it finds me. This was one of those days, This sky knocked my socks (sock) off, I hope it does the same for you.
Beautiful sky and shades of spring green!
That is one stunning photo…the sky, trees, and mountains are so beautiful and just speak of spring!
