Who is that man with those blue eyes?
My pulmonologist completed the round-robin of checkups on my health. It was a clean sweep; my sleep apnea is down to 2 events a night.
We began at 80. My doctor was pleased. On the way home, I stopped to get my new tinted glasses. In bright light, they turn blue and block the brightest lights from making it hard to see clearly.
If there is anything seriously wrong with me, modern medicine can’t find it. I won’t be cocky, but I will allow myself to feel good about it.
The glasses work, and another in my Spring/Summer campaign to be a better me—only one kidney stone to go.
Inside the house, they are clear and regular; out in the sun, they put up a screen (also in front of my computer) and keep powerful lights from nearly blinding me. I can see more clearly through the viewfinder as well. I’m pleased with them, even though I will suddenly startle people by turning blue.
I like the new frames, too, it’s me. Writerly, but not too writerly, if you know what I mean. More importantly, Maria loves them.
Those glasses are great and you look quite dapper in them!
Thanks Josie
Wow! Snappy look and better/safer vision all at once. Doesn’t get any better than that, Jon!
Very distinguished, we must say!
