As a photographer, I’m always looking for silhouettes. They tell stories to me.
At first, this didn’t seem like a picture to e, but then I leaned back and saw Maria walking right out of her world – nature, the animals, and her love of caring for living things (including me.) Her world is a mural behind her.
Every day, at dusk, the donkeys are silhouetted in front of the forest as the sun falls behind the hills. It’s a unique way to see them.
The Imperious hens are so white shadows and silhouettes were created for them. I’m hooked on their parades, butts up in the air, beaks alert for bugs and worms. It is a gift to watch them at work.
Love your photography.
I love the imperious hens and I love seeing your photos of them. I guess it’s the country girl in me still at 82 remembering the hens I grew up with as a child, but we never had any as beautiful as your three. All of ours were Rhode Island Reds and produced eggs for my Daddy to sell to the ladies in town. Your beautiful hens are so special to me. Thank you for your photography.
