Magnolias don’t stick around for long, at least here. I only have a day or two to take a picture of them; I did yesterday and went out again this morning. Most will be gone in a day or so.
They are beautiful, dignified, and moody flowers. It’s hard to capture them, but my Iphone and Sigma Macro lens did a good job in different ways.
The Iphone is wonderfully clear; the Leica goes after emotion. Both of them work.
I didn’t spot one of the imperious hens at; first; she just popped up in the viewfinder beneath the flower petals raining down.
I’m learning what the different lenses are good for, day by day. They all seem to me like beautiful sculptures.
Love your characterization of the flowers’ moodiness! I can absolutely see it! TFS.
Absolutely gorgeous
I love the shot with the hen.
I agree with MAUREEN O’HAGAN. That is a nice photo with the hen.
