As I wrote yesterday, John Riegel of County Power Products, my friend and hay provider, gave me this small square of pansies just out of the greenhouse with strict instructions to only put them out for one hour a day for weeks.

We put them out today for their hour in the warm sun, and I grabbed my camera and started remembering what worked last year. I found the light I wanted.

I’m happy to offer these first new flower photos for 2023. The pansies are going into my raised bed garden. Here we go.
