Minnie is back on the porch these days, Maria decides, and Minnie tells us when she wants to come inside.

She lived in the basement on her heated cat house pillow for much of the winter. I can’t tell if she misses Flor; there’s no sign of it; she eats heartily and loves to sit out in the sun. One of these nights, she’ll stay outside, which will last until winter.

We feed her twice daily, and she still gets hold of an occasional mouse.

She’s been to the vet and gotten her shots. Minnies favorite spot is that wicker chair. She’s the Queen Of The Back Porch now.
