Some very beautiful and elegant potholders in the making in Maria’s Full Moon Fiber Art studio bird potholders. Maria is painting the birds onto the fabric and then sowing around the boundaries.
These “Birds In Winter” potholders are meant to acknowledge and celebrate Spring, which is two days old. They’ll be sweet to have around when winter comes back.
We saw bluebirds, sparrows, and chickadees in the snow; they come early when it gets close to Spring. But these songbirds are all about Spring, from what I’ve seen, these potholders are graceful and very different.
Because they are hand painted, and are original art, the potholders will cost $30 plus shipping. There will be about 10 in all.
They aren’t finished and will go up on Maria’s Etsy page in a week or so. If anyone wants to contact her about them, her e-mail is [email protected]. You can follow their progress on her blog, fullmoonfiberart.com.
Each potholder is different, of course. Original art.
