I spent much of the day being tested, and later this week, I’ll find out just how healthy I am. Tuesday morning, Maria and I will see my surgical podiatrist, Dr. Daly, and we will decide whether or not to have my left big toe amputated.
We’ll all have an honest talk and make a decision. Even though I have been feeling clear, I want to stay open to what everybody else says.
I am practical regarding health decisions, but I am also human. It is a big decision and needs to be taken seriously. I’m edgy about it. My toe has been with me for a long time. I guess there is no such thing as loyalty regarding body parts.
I’m not sure what the schedule is, but I wanted to get my flower-sharing photo up if I’m tied up.
We just learned that the wicked storm of last week damaged a part of our roof and broke some of our slate tiles. Jamie came to look at the top and said the damage will cost at least $1,000 to repair.
He’s putting up some temporary roofing and will come and finish the job over the weekend. No snow in the forecast; we were nearly up to 50 degrees today. The storm was savage, but there is no longer much sign except on our roof.
Life happens…
