The Vintage clothes keep coming into Bishop Gibbons from blog readers all over the country – this week from Texas, Colorado, New York State, Massachusetts, New Mexico, California, and Illinois. The clothes will be used by Sue Silverstein’s art/photography class in a major photo competition.
“The kids are so excited about the project!” she says. It’s exciting to see how Sue has been lighting up her art students at the school. I’m eager to return there once the weather cooperates and my cough completely disappears.
The students will dress in these clothes while their classmates take pictures.
Sue still accepts vintage clothing donations for her project and other art classes. These clothes open up all kinds of artistic possibilities, and Sue will not miss one of them.
If anyone else wishes to contribute, the address is Sue Silverstein, Bishop Gibbons High School, 2600 Albany Street, Schenectady, New York, 12304.
Thank you so much. I can’t wait to see the photo competition – and take pictures, of course.
