My Blue Sky Was Waiting For Me This Morning, Glad I Got Up To See It. It’s Snowing Now, At 4 P.M.

by Jon Katz

My blue sky awaited me in the morning, always there even when I couldn’t see it. I’ve only seen it once or twice in the past few days.

It’s snowing now; Maria is getting ready to drive to Vermont for her belly dancing glass, which she loves and needs to do.

I admit it makes me uneasy about having her driving at night on these country roads when it’s snowing, which it will be for much of the night. It s  not a blizzard, and she knows what she is doing.

Still, it makes me anxious, and I won’t relax until she comes home. She’s agreed to take my car, which has four-wheel drive.

Thanks to the Army Of Good, I have photos to put up, the Mansion Cat Club, a gathering of many robot cats we buy for the residents. I was overwhelmed by the residents’ love for these cats; I’ll share the photos and words this evening. Thanks so much for your support.

I saw the weather report and said goodbye to the blue sky; I’ll see it in a few days. The sun is warming; the days are lengthening. We’re getting there.
