Maria and Zinnia and I and the dogs went for a walk today; it was 50 degrees, and the trees are beginning to bud. We had to remind ourselves it was early February.

I took some monochrome photos which I’ll post later, and I loved being able to go on the walk. It’s been a long time. Thanks again for the miracles of modern medicine and technology.

The last time I walked out here, it was just a pond Zinnia loves to go in. Now, it’s Zinnia’s pond. She plunges in, chases sticks, swims in circles, and then gets out and shakes herself off.

An awful lot of water comes off of her. My camera lens was quick.
