Spring Comes Creeping Along, Flirting With Us

by Jon Katz

This kind of weather turns Maria into a nature elf. She hauled a wicker basket out of the barn and put it on the back porch, then she went and got Minnie out of the basement where she had been for a couple of months.

Maria closed her eyes and soaked up some sun.

She then decided it was time for Minnie to get some sun, so she brought her up.

Then she got Zinnia and Fate and headed out to her beloved woods and her pine cave. Minnie, who has only three good legs, is slowing down quite a bit and rarely wants to go out,  but she is comfortable and safe in her heated cat house in the basement. She can’t go out in the cold anymore.

She’ll come back in later tonight.

Maria loves her woods, and the Gully Bridge has de-iced, she can cross more easily. She loves the photos and videos she takes. I call them Stories From The woods. Soon, the porch will look like Spring again.
