Maria finished her quilt and moved to a new project, which seemed like great fun: donkey potholders.
She’s on a roll, and this one feels special to me. Donkeys – Lulu and Fanny – are an essential part of our lives. We love them, but Maria has a special connection with them; they communicate wonderfully and uniquely.
Maria’s way of talking to the donkeys – and listening to them – has changed how I communicate with animals and lead to my visualization work with my dogs.
The potholders will be sold on her Etsy Page sometime next week.
I’m not clear on what she plans to charge for these; she has authorized $20 plus shipping for the sheep and other potholders she’s made recently. But she hasn’t decided on a price yet. She saves that for the end.
You can follow the progress of the potholders – she’s only done the front – on her blog, fullmoonfiberart.com. Her e-mail is [email protected].
These donkey pot holders are really neat.
Jon, the photo of Maria with the donkeys and sheep is out of this world.
