The summer flowers are warming my heart and soul. We haven’t had any sun for four or five days, and snow, ice, and rain everyone of those days.
Up here, we call it winter, and we have no complaining to do. This is part of life here, and it makes the Spring sweeter than ever.
Climate change is warming the planet and hurting our farmers in many ways. But this week, winter feels pretty much as it usually feels in mid-January. Not as cold, and the snow is not as deep. But it’s a mess. We’re supposed to get some sun tomorrow.
That will be nice. In the meantime, a red Zinnia to life our spirits, for me in the cold, for you in the rain, snow, tornadoes, and floods. Spring is coming, for sure.
