Once a week – on Fridays – I’m invited into Maria’s studio to see what she’s working on. This is always fun and exciting. She’s made about a dozen vintage hand-painted and designed scarves made from very old hankies. She sold all of her scarves before she even made them. She put the people who wanted them on a list, and she showed each person the scarf that was available at the time, and they are all sold.
Maris is on fire. She painted each hanky by hand in her own style, and had a blast.
She says she will make some more scarves, but they will be sold on her Etsy Studio Page in a week or so. She’s also going to be making more of her now-famous Sheep Potholders. You can check on the progress of her work by going to Maria’s blog, www.fullmoonfiberart.com.
I am very fortunate to be one of the people who got on the list, and I can’t wait to present the scarf to my wife when it arrives. Maria is talented and creative. Thanks to you both for your work!
Thanks to you, Maria works so hard and is so creative, I appreciate these good words and so will she…When she started, she never thought anyone would buy her quilts or potholders…hopefully she knows better…:)
