My granddaughter Robin is taking art classes, and the first painting she made was of her dog Sandy, her friend, and her sleeping partner.
I thought the painting was a great first effort. Note the perspective on the dog’s legs.
As always, I am deeply impressed with Emma’s photographs’ framing, perspective, and detail.
Her pictures keep me in touch with Robin and have drawn Emma and me closer together. We live far apart, but we have something powerful to share.
Emma has a genius for composition.
She has invited me to come to New York City and take pictures with her, and I am excited to do it. As soon as it warms up, I get on the train.

Emma is immensely talented. But what touches me is how Sandy and Robin are clearly soulmates, even their ginger tracks. You can see the literally energetic connection between. When a dog and child find each other as soul friends, nothing is more right with the universe.
My son’s Aussie from childhood visits in his dreams and we both know she is an angel of his.
I love the painting! Well done.
I agree that there is talent here. She is aware of proportions AND the light in the dog’s eyes. Well done. Robin!
Stinkin’ cute as usual!
Robin is certainly talented. That’s an amazing painting of Sandy for a six-year old child. Well done, Robin.
