Maria’s new and larger Lulu And Fanny magnets are trotting right out of here and into the wider world. She sold 60 of 100 almost immediately.
They are slightly larger than the first round – 4 x 2 3/4″ – and cost $7 each, including shipping. They can be seen and purchased on her Etsy Page.
Maria is one of the most generous and giving people I know, and I suspect she would love to give her creations away free to nice people who love and appreciate them.
Being an artist, of course, she knows she wouldn’t last long that way.
But occasionally, I like to stick my nose in and toot her horn, which she never does. It is a horn worth tooting. I can’t even express how much I’ve loved watching her art grow and deepen.
Her potholders and wall hangings and quilts have gone just about everywhere.
In order to keep her beloved quilts affordable, she also sells magnets, stickers, yarns and scarves, dryer balls, and posters to pay her bills. She works very hard, just about every day.
She is fiercely independent. I’m happy to help with marketing when I get the chance, so I give a heads-up when something people want is disappearing.
These magnets will be gone in hours or days, so I just wanted to share the good news. There are still 30 or 40 left (as of 3:30 p.m.) These two donkeys are special. They belong on refrigerators and provoke smiles.
You can see them and buy them here.
