It’s cold and cloudy here today; I’m happy to offer some color and light from my floral archive. Below is the brick-covered garden bed, all tucked away for the winter, new loads of donkey manure waiting to do their thing.
The cardboard helps to keep weeds away and also keeps the soil moist.
Please remember my photographs (these are all unseen) are not watermarked or copyrighted. Feel free to use them in any way you wish. I hope they bring you peace and comfort as they do me. It’s great to get a dose of color and light; I have a lot of photos I never got to share.
P.S. My Dog Support program is up and running. If you need help or counseling about your dog, click here to check it out. There is a $50 fee for a half-hour. In January, it’s going to be $65 for each half-hour. Sessions are on Zoom or the phone, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 5 p.m. Eastern Standard time. Details here.

thank you for much needed light and color, Jon. i’ve been having a rough time for months with persistent vertigo……. working on it with vestibular re-hab……and upcoming other more intensive *investigative* appointments to pinpoint underlying *causes*………so my brain and life have been consumed and overwhelmed with not feeling well……and the anticipation of what is to come. Your posts and photos enliven my day every day. Thank you! A welcomed blessing in my life every day
