Two Beautiful New Shawls From Suzy Fatzinger And Her Angora Goats

by Jon Katz

Every year, Suzy Fatzinger, who lives in Pennsylvania with her family and her Angora goats, sends Maria some of her beautiful shawls to sell on her behalf. They have always sold immediately; they are in great demand and much loved.

Maria and Suzy are close friends, and they work together and have for years. It started with our open houses, where we first sold Suzy’s shawls, and the friendship has continued. The two share a passion for creativity and a commitment to making wonderful art.

The shawls do not last long and are now available on Maria’s Etsy Shop.

The shawl above is handspun and handknitted, and is called “Autumn Light” and is $150 plus $10 shipping. It is 19″ by 60″.

The shawl below, called October Earth, is also handspun and for sale on the Etsy Shop. It is also hand-knitted and costs $160 plus $10 shipping. It is 20″ by 71″.

You can read more about these gorgeous shawls on Maria’s blog and her Etsy shop, or e-mail her at [email protected].

This is always a special moment in Autumn for us. The two have a special relationship and constantly text each other about wool, yarn, knitting, and animals. It is inspiring for me to see these two wonderful and gifted women work together in this way.

Way to go, Suzy.
