We went to Vermont to pick up Maria’s yarn; she’ll write about it in the morning. We got back mid-afternoon.
(the above photo is of one of our trees on our property behind the pasture. I’ve been waiting for the rear tree to show its colors, and today, it did. We have lovely autumn here this year.)
We both got our flu/covid boosters yesterday, and yes, we have had some side effects – Â exhaustion mostly – we’ll be fine in the morning. It was a gorgeous afternoon when we got home, and we did our chores together and just sat in the chairs outside and watched some Turkey Vultures fly on the wind.
It was a beautiful thing to see, the day was perfect, and the bugs are gone. I did take some photos, but I’m done for the day.
We plan to watch the new episode of Reservation Dogs on Hulu and then sleep. Tomorrow is a quiet day; I have two or three Dog Support conversations I’m looking forward to; otherwise, a day of peaceful rest.
Every day with Maria is a beautiful day for me. We are excited about Maria’s yarn. She doesn’t blog on Saturdays; it’s her sabbath.
Everyone was running along with the sheep to the gate.
Dog greeting When We Came Home
The leaves blowing in the wind gave me a merry time this afternoon with my camera; I got dizzy, but I hung in there and got some lovely photos, at least to me. I’ll put some more up tomorrow.
Maria walking out to the pasture. It looked like she was a part of the autumn change, a part of the landscape. I think that might be true.
I remember the Vermont maples having so much more reds than the Midwest golden maples.
What an amazing photo!! I had to look twice to find Maria! Excellent shot! ??
Everyone needs kisses.
