This morning’s mist was so beautiful; I was on the way to the shower when I saw the sun coming up behind the fog with Maria standing in the middle. getting ready to close the pasture gates.
An iconic Bedlam Farm photo, I grabbed a camera and rushed out and out into the pasture.
Yes, I was naked, and yes, it was frigid. I didn’t even notice the temperature; I was so busy moving around for the right angle. The animals looked at me, somewhat astonished. Maria understands that this will happen from time to time. She just smiles. I did have shoes on.
I did get the photo I wanted after a while and ran back into the house while a patient, Zinnia, waited for me to call her inside.
I am happy to share a beautiful scene this morning with you. I didn’t know that I needed to be close to nature for much of my life, but I do know it now. I was happy to take a long, hot, shower.
You are an artist with the camera in hand. Wow I love reading your posts but I have every book you have written as well. I don’t know you personally but I so enjoy knowing you and Maria through your writing posts. Who knows maybe someday I will have the chance to meet you both. Have a wonderful day. Kiss all the animals once just for me.
Thanks Carol, that is a lovely note..
STUNNING! I love the red boots. Somebody once told me that you need to wear red socks (and underwear) when you are cold and depleted of energy. So next time, make a selfie 🙂 with at the very least red socks and boots! That would be quite the show, hehe!
