My week Zoom meeting with blog readers kicks off at 10 a.m. Eastern Savings Time this morning, Wednesday, September 28, 2022. There is no charge, and there will be no recordings or videos for your privacy and comfort.

When the meeting roster is complete, I’ll lock it, and a notification will go out.
The meetings will last between 45 minutes and an hour. For now, they will be every Wednesday 10 a.m., Eastern Time. I know this inconveniences some people, but it’s the only time that works for me, and for Maria, at this time.
Maria will join us today and most Wednesdays; she is a ham just like me. Zinnia will be lying at my feet, gnawing on a bone, which people can hear on Zoom.
So far, people are from five different states, including California and Minnesota (and one from Canada).
This is a safe zone; we gather in the spirit of community; we come to talk and listen to one another, not to argue.
No politics, no hate. I believe in community building, and I’ve tried many times to create it online. Mostly, I’ve failed.
My blog is the closest I’ve come. This Zoom session is a continuation of that. I’d like for us to know each other as humans, not as messages on a blog post.

With you and Maria, I should have said. The differences in the ways the two of you view her creative process, Maria from the inside, and you observing from the outside, was really fascinating. I know that her next creation will be wonderful.
It was nice. Some important and interesting things were said without politics, nastiness or hate. Refreshing indeed.
