I finished sanding and polyurethaning my apple wood table this morning, and Maria and I moved it into my office, where it will be a great addition.
I’m going to leave it alone to really dry for a few days, but I did put a bottle of water on it.
It’s a beautiful wood and I’m lucky to have it in my office.
Niceky done, simply wonderous. The grains, and rings if kife stand out. Beautifully
🙂
Your apple tree lost a limb yet it continues to produce apples and provide shade. It’s been a long time since I’ve thought of Shel Silverstein’s book, The Giving Tree, but this reminded me of it. Nature can be cruel at times but it gives so much back to us in return. What a lovely and useful way to remember that big old apple tree!
