I won’t be allowed to take pictures of the young artists making this beautiful art for a week or so; the permission forms are going and need to be signed.

Noah made this beautiful wind chime from the boxes of metal objects many of you sent to Sue and are still sending (Sue Silverstein, Art Department, Bishop Gibbons High School, 2600 Albany Street, Schenectady, N.Y., 12304.
I think Sue may have to start thinking about a school museum or a school show of art soon; her art classes are taking off.
Below, her printmaking class is making colonial floor clothes. They carve two different designs and print both from linoleum black on canvas. These clothes were made from sails salvaged from ships and were used to keep the cold out of houses as much as possible.

And this one. Soon, I’ll be able to take photos of these gifted young artists. Sue has two bays with different art tools and works with several other classes on various projects. The new art program is amazing.
Sue, a passionate art teacher, has rarely had the tools she needed; she has them now, thanks to the Army of Good. I’m trying to keep up so you can see what your gifts have done.
