Tomorrow, I’m launching yet another effort to humanize how people like me talk to people like you.
We depend on one another; we should have the chance to speak face-to-face in real time. Be a pioneer; give it a shot.

So here goes. I know the odds are long, but the response has been terrific, at least in advance. I hope the people who love the idea will show up if they can. I call these meetings “Talk To Me…”
Below is the link to the talk on Zoom; I will admit the first 12-15. Let’s see what happens. I’ve learned that many people are happy with the convenience and anonymity of texts, e-mails, and blog comments.
Those new tools are convenient and comfortable, but the format often breeds confusion and misunderstanding. Some people are losing the ability to communicate clearly with other people. Let’s give it a shot. I wouldn’t be surprised if lots of people showed up, and I wouldn’t be surprised if few people showed up.
It’s important to me, but that doesn’t mean it’s important to others. I consider it a noble experiment and possibly one of great fun and satisfaction. I sometimes have trouble understanding the motives and agendas of people who post online. They sometimes have difficulty understanding mine.
We can do better.

The link should be enough to get you into the meeting (I must admit people one by one). My Tech Guru, Andrew Koehler, will be in the forum to ensure everything goes smoothly and that I don’t mess it up or Zoom doesn’t.
Just use the link below to enter and wait. I’ll admit you somewhere between 9:30 and 10 A.M. when the meeting will start. If you’ve already signed in, then come just before 10. Some people have.
Bear with me; this morning is a first for me. It will be exciting to attach some faces to some names.

Hey Jon : I think it is a really cool idea. I will be in airports tomorrow traveling ….but I will be with all of you in spirit! I am continually amazed that all you accomplish in a day / week. Whew! Will be anxious to read and eventually see how it develops. Good on ya for always creating something new and valuable!
Margeret, the meeting was quite wonderful, a great success..I’m going to keep it small and not record it. Please try again next week and I’ll look for you. I think you’d be a great addition.
