There was a beautiful morning mist today; this summer was so bright and hot; I don’t recall seeing one of these fogs which make the farm and the hills so beautiful.
I’m having medical health week, which happens twice a year. I saw the retinal specialist yesterday, my podiatrist surgeon this morning, and I’m seeing an optometrist next week.
I have a cardiologist appointment in November. I don’t see these visits as intrusions but as part of my realization that if I take care of myself, I can be healthy and engaged for some time.
Taking care of my health is something I value and appreciate more than I did before. I need to pay attention to my health, and I can’t just push it aside as I once did.
As Covid fades, I’m getting swamped again; I have a lot to do and a lot to write. I feel my health and strength coming back. That feels good. Fall is upon us, sooner than I expected. I’m ready for it.
My head is spinning with all the things happening in my life.
I’m happy to be able to drive myself into Saratoga.
When I see the mist, I make a point out of going out and sitting in one of the friendship chairs. I just bought an insect book for Robin when she comes. I’m looking forward to the visit.
Such a beautiful landscape! I’m so glad you have that cluster of raised bed flower gardens.
