I’m sorry it took me so long to appreciate the accessible beauty of clouds, which hang over my head almost every day of my life and can be achingly beautiful.

I saw this cloud yesterday (with my Leica 2) when I looked up over the farmhouse – I’m learning to look up, and it took my breath away. I wanted to share it. It followed a short torrential rain pour.

We don’t just get ordinary rain anymore; we get “torrential downpour.” But the clouds that follow it can be worth it.
