When I open the back door and look out every morning, what I call the Meet And Greet And Eat Committee is waiting for me.
Flo gets up to eat – she isn’t that far gone, I see – and the Imperious Hens are gathered by Maria’s Fiber Chair, once the resting spot of the barn cats.
For most of my life, this is not something I would ever imagine seeing. Now, I see it every day and love it. There’s a message in that.
What a sweet picture! 🙂 Love it!
Dear Mr. Jon,
Your wonderful books have kept me delighted and entertained. I am dwelling in Assisted Living in Agawam, MA and our dear library keeps me supplied. I am presently reading “Second Chance Dog” and, as usual enjoying it so very much. I cannot recall when I became attached to you and your delightful stories, but you have brought to me many hours of enjoyment – which is not easy these days, but you do gift me with your writing and story telling. I am approaching my 96 birthday and have decided it is about time to take a few minutes and let folks know how very much enjoyment and how very much they have enriched my life. Thank you for the time you have spent with me – perhaps unknowingly on your part, but this lady has certainly been enriched and benefited in many ways.
Ellie
Thank you, Eleanor…
