I saw Dr. Daly this morning, my foot is fine, but she said for various reasons, I would have to get it checked every four to six weeks, perhaps for the rest of my life.
(First photo above, a geranium plant I got two days ago is exploding. The geraniums are very happy here.)
This was a jolt, but I guess it was already happening.
One of my toes is locked in place and doesn’t curve, and infection or galluses are possible without some maintenance.
I’m sorry to hear this but grateful to have my feet in such good hands.
My toe is in good shape; she did some scraping and bandaging.
This is turning out to be a doctor week, all in Saratoga Springs. I’m seeing a pulmonologist tomorrow to check on my sleep apnea stats. He is more the kind of doctor was used to and decided to get away from – all data, I doubt he would recognize me if I walked into him outside.
But he’s gone a good job with me; the sleep apnea has helped me sleep and rest my heart. No complaints. Most of the male doctors I know are like that.
Thursday, I get my eyes checked, also in Saratoga.
I thought about getting a pedicure but then decided against it. It was fun, but do I need a pedicure? No, I don’t think so. I find myself asking that question more and more. Do I really need to buy this?
I’m surprised by how often the answer is no.
I’m on the lookout for a few new plants to put in my garden beds, the poppies have had it, and the primrose seeds never grew – too late. I will have a few good-sized holes shortly and plan to take flower pictures until the first frost.
I found some new colors this evening and couldn’t resist a few pictures. So far, the garden seems charmed. Almost everything is growing.
Jon love your flowers! They do indeed brighten my day! So do pedi’s and help keep my feet from developing wounds. I’ve been able to reduce the frequency of podiatrist visits by increasing pedi’s. My feet are happy and so am I. No wounds to contend with for over 3 years now. It’s working for me. Pedi’s are now a part of my health care. Bev
‘Grateful to have my feet in such good hands.’ Oh, you make me laugh out loud. Thank you.
