We’re off to the Vermont knitting mill this morning with the wool that was sheared a couple of months ago. The trip doesn’t take long; we’ll be back around one p.m.
We enjoy these trips very much; one of the best rituals of our life on the farm.
I’m grateful for my Leica cameras this morning; they changed my life.
I’m glad I took the financial and creative risk to get these cameras; they are moving me closer and closer to a lifelong goal I have had but never quite admitted – being an artist.
I don’t feel I’m quite there yet, but this time, I did the hard work that goes into true creativity. I learned what I had to learn and tried what I had to try.
I like the result, even though I know I have a long way to go. I am also grateful to Maria and to all the good people who encouraged and supported me. Thank you.
I’ve done an all-monochrome photo exercise, and I’ll post that later today. Later.
Check out this FB group, you will learn a ton.

Thanks much Dana, I’m allergic to Facebook groups; my lessons are enough for me but thanks for the idea. I want to just learn by doing right now. It’s kind of you to think of me.
I don’t like them much either, but it inspires me to look!
I really like the framing of Bedland Farm in this picture. So much is included, depicting all the color amd beauty summer offers. Nice.
