All day we were under severe storm warnings; we got a high wind for five minutes and a few drops of rain.
When the storm blew over, missing us almost wholly – we seem lucky that way so far – I was struck by the beauty of the sky and the cumulus cloud riot going on overhead.
It was a close call; the sky was black and the wind furious just a few miles north of us.
I had to take one last photo, perhaps getting ready for my marathon dental work in the morning. The farm looks so beautiful after a storm, even one that missed us.
Good night. I’ll see you later Wednesday afternoon. I’m sure I’ll have a story to tell. I most often do.
